Description
Persons can use first-line stay through the Zorgverzekeringswet (Zvw) if short-term stay is medically necessary in connection with medical care such as general practitioners who undertake to provide, where 24-hour supervision or care is present in the vicinity, whether or not accompanied by nursing, care or paramedical care.
This file contains data on claims for Zvw-first-line residence approved by the care offices and submitted to Vektis. Experiments are ignored. This file requires permission from the data provider. This consent can be obtained by making a description of the use of the data. This description shall not exceed an A4 and shall contain the following components: short description project, target binding, years to use and variables to be used. This description should be sent to the email address: [mail address hidden – contact CBS]. SGZ will then contact the data supplier for arranging consent.

### Methodology
In this file, the expenditure and care size of the first line stay is given at person level. The declarations are aggregated by person, care services provided first-line stay and start and end dates. The volume per declaration is calculated on the basis of the number of services recorded. In case of missing data in terms of volume, the volume has been estimated based on the daily rates calculated from the complete records.
### Population
Persons who have made use of first-line residence (Vvw-funded) and who were registered in the Basic Register Persons in the relevant year.
