Members, customers, use of accommodation, volunteering, employment, benefits and expenses of sports clubs (01-01-2015 - 01-01-2024)
Description
The database contains data on the activities of sports clubs in the Netherlands, the number of (youth) members or customers of these organisations, on the use of sports facilities by these organisations, about the voluntary work and employment of these organisations and about their benefits and costs.

### Methodology
The stock is a sample observation of the population. Each record represents one sports club. The (partially) missing or incorrect information is estimated on the basis of internet information, past information and averages of comparable sports organisations. The results are weighed.
### Population
The sports clubs (one-man businesses, private companies, associations, foundations, etc.) registered with the Chambers of Commerce, whose main activity is the provision of sports education or the opportunity to practice one or more sports organised (SBI 85519, 93121 to 92129, 93141 to 93149, 93151 and 93192).
Professional football organisations are not observed.
