Persons using Zvw-Zorg for sensory disabled (01-01-2015-01-01-2020)

Description

Persons with sensory disabilities can use care for sensory disabled through the Health Insurance Act (Zvw). This file contains data on claims for Wlz care in kind approved by the care offices and submitted to Vektis. This file requires permission from the data provider. This consent can be obtained by making a description of the use of the data. This description shall not exceed an A4 and shall contain the following components: short description project, target binding, years to use and variables to be used. This description should be sent to the email address: [mail address hidden – contact CBS]. SGZ will then contact the data supplier for arranging consent. The declarations are aggregated by person, type of care to disability (visual, auditory or communicative) and start and end date. The volume per declaration is calculated on the basis of the number of recorded performances and the corresponding time unit. In case of missing data in terms of volume, the volume has been estimated based on the hourly rates calculated from the complete records. From 2020 onwards, no distinction can be made between an auditory or communicative limitation. In addition to the care benefits according to disability, the registration of Vektis also includes the allowance (costs for driving the caregiver) and stay in the context of care for sensory disabled people. The costs of these services are allocated to the type of care they are used for. The volume of this performance is not included. These performances cannot be recognised as a separate post because of their assignment to the different types of care in this microdata file. ### Population Persons who have used care for sensory disabled (Vvw-funded) and who were registered in the Basic Register Persons in the relevant year.
