Persons who have made use of contributory WMO custom work facilities (01-01-2015-01-01-2020)

Description

This file contains the data of all persons aged 18 or over who have used Wmo-customisation facilities in the care year, the costs of which are borne by the Wmo-2015 (Social Support Act 2015) and for which an own contribution has to be paid. This care is registered by the Central Administration Office (CAK). This concerns care that the client receives by appointment at the care provider, or that the healthcare provider delivers to the client at home. It may include care for the elderly, chronically ill, people with disabilities, people with long-term mental health problems or people who need temporary care. The care used includes care in kind and personal budgets for which an own contribution must be paid, the costs of which are borne by the Wmo. — Non-resident WMO-funded care includes the function of domestic care, personal care, counselling and tools and facilities. Accommodation in an institution with the indication short stay is also included under the use of Wmo customisation facilities. WMO-funded care with residence includes shelter and protected living. The reference book TYPEMWVREF from the System of Social Statistical Files (SSB) can be used to classify the tailor-made facilities in the four types of customised provision used in the MLZ-Statline table “Used Contributionable Wmo Customisation”. Persons under the age of 18 do not have to pay their own contribution and therefore do not appear in this file. The year in which care is provided, the year of care, differs from the calendar year. A care year always runs from Monday to Sunday and consists of 13 periods of 4 weeks. Once every 5 years, a care year consists of 12 periods of 4 weeks and 1 period of 5 weeks. The file contains per person the custom-made facilities that were used with a start and end date per continuous period per customised provision. This file contains only concerns from people who have ever been in or are still in the Basic Registration Persons (BRP). Generic consent has been issued by the data provider for the use of this file, provided that the data provider receives an overview of the investigations carried out. This overview is maintained by the Centre for Policy Statistics.
