Link table longitudinal jobs of employees based on the Police Administration (from 01-01-2010)

Description

This file has been compiled for users of data from the Police Administration who want to track employee jobs and their characteristics over time. Each job in the Police Administration has a unique identification (BAANRUGID from 2006 to 2009, IKVID from 2010), which allows employees to be tracked in time in their job. However, the BAANRUGID or IKVID of a job can change for several reasons, making it seem as if the job is being terminated and a new job starts, while in reality it just continues. One of the main reasons for stepping up a new job is the change in the administrative unit (wage fee number), while the same job in the old administrative unit simply continues in the new administrative unit. This file contains the linking of successive jobs of employees with a different IKVID in the 2010 spolis and later, involving the same job. The variable SLBAANID connects these lanes with each other. More information on how to access the data: > https://www.cbs.nl/nl-nl/onze-diensten/maatwerk-en-microdata/microdata-zelf-onderzoek-doen ### Methodology SLBAANID identifies a longitudinal job (in the 2010 spolis and later), i.e. the sequence of jobs of employees with a different IKVID involving the same job. Multiple BAANRUGID 's (in the POLIS 2006 to 2009) and several IKVID 's (in the POLIS 2010 and later) may be involved in the same job. SLBAANID in SPOLISLONGBAANTABVV connects the jobs with different IKVID in the 2010 spolis and later with each other, which is the same job. LBAANID in POLISLONGBAANTABVV connects the jobs with different BAANRUGID in the POLIS 2006 to 2009 with the same job. For longitudinal jobs in 2006 to 2009 that go through to 2010 and later: LBAANID=SLBAANID. Analysis of longitudinal orbits from 2006 to the present day thus requires the following two components: POLISLONGBAANTABVV and SPOLISLONGBAANTABVV. The SPOLISLONGBAANTABVV component is compiled annually on the basis of the annual files of the Police Administration (spolis). The component is a cumulative file of longitudinal jobs 2010 to the present day. Longitudinal jobs for the last two years are provisional. The longitudinal jobs in the previous years are final. ### Population Jobs of employees in the Police Administration from 2010 with a different IKVID involving the same job. PLEASE NOTE: This file therefore does not contain all the jobs of employees in the Police Administration as of 2010. This file is a torque table to be used in combination with the POLIS 2010 and later.
