Persons in possession of a valid Dutch driving licence (01-01-2018-01-01-2021)
Description
Statistics of persons holding a valid Dutch driving licence for a passenger car, bus, moped, motorcycle and/or truck and possibly a corresponding trailer driving licence. It concerns all persons who hold a valid driving licence on 1 January of the year under review.

### Methodology
This statistics is based on integral counts of data from the RDW driving licence register. With the help of this registration, counts are made of all persons in possession of a valid driving licence on 1 January of the reporting year.
After receipt of the basic data, the valid driving licenses are selected from the file.
In addition, regional data is supplemented where possible.
### Population
All persons who are allowed to drive a passenger car, bus, moped, motorcycle and/or truck and possibly a trailer, because they are in possession of a valid Dutch driving licence.
