Traffic performance passenger cars (01-01-2015-01-01-2018)
Description
Traffic performance in vehicle-kilometres of passenger cars and #039;s per year with a Dutch registration, broken down by characteristics of the vehicle and by territory. From the register of the RDW, the registration numbers of the total sample population were enriched with odometer readings and associated registration dates. Based on the differences between odometer readings of two consecutive level data, the kilometres travelled for the period between the level data were calculated. This calculates year kilometrages for all vehicles. These annual kilometrages are used to estimate, among other things, the traffic performance of passenger cars and #039;s.

### Methodology
Secondary observation using the registers of the Road Traffic Service (RDW)
### Population
All passenger cars registered in the Netherlands with a valid Dutch registration number that are admitted to traffic on public roads during (part of) the reporting year, including passenger cars and cars in (part of) the year belonging to the company stock and passenger car#039;s which are active only part of the year on the road network, mainly new or imported vehicles and vehicles that have been scrapped or exported during the year.
