Characteristics, rent, costs and weighting factor of an independent rental property in the Netherlands (01-07-2017 – 01-07-2018)
Description
This data design describes a panel of independent rental properties of which the rents and (service) costs are recorded for the current reporting year and the previous reporting year; By self-contained house is a house with its own entrance door, private toilet, own kitchen and private bath facilities. The main features of the property are: year of construction, construction type, number of rooms, surface area, points rating, energy label, whether or not liberalised house and WOZ value. In addition, the municipality in which the property is located and the owner category to determine whether the property is a social or private property.

### Methodology
A scale of 64 cells is used. The cells are made using 4 characteristics. The weighing plan comes from the Ministry of the Interior. The indices for net rent and garage rent are weighted and the indices based on service costs are unweighted. No indices are calculated for the service costs of service and recreation space and others.
