Table 'Asylum requests; from 1980 to nationality & #039; contains data per year on the number of asylum applications submitted separately by nationality. In addition to the total number of requests, the first and subsequent requests are included.

### Methodology
The figures refer to asylum applications from persons of all ages. As soon as more than 50 first asylum applications of a nationality are submitted in a year, this nationality is listed separately in the table.
