Population of business units (BE), enterprise groups (OG) and related CBS press Sons (CBP) belonging to the Productiestatistica Healthcare Institutions. More information on how to access the data: > https://www.cbs.nl/nl-nl/onze-diensten/maatwerk-en-microdata/microdata-zelf-onderzoek-doen ### Methodology In the Healthcare Units Register (ZER), the sources of production statistic care institutions are automatically linked to the General Companies Register (ABR). These links are then checked and improved manually. There is a confrontation between the Polisdata with job data and the annual accounts of the healthcare institutions. ### Population Until 2014 the population of production statistics is healthcare institutions: (Groups of) companies whose main activity is hospital care, mental health care, care for the disabled, nursing home care, home care, social care, women’s care and youth care that are fully or partially funded through the Health Insurance Act (Zvw) and the General Act on Special Medical Expenses (AWBZ) and/or provincially funded youth care. The group of undertakings is the unit on which the financial decisions are made for the total of the legal units. As of 2015, the former AWBZ care is funded by other laws: Long-term care Act (Wlz), the Social Support Act (Wmo) 2015, Zorgverzekeringswet (Zvw) and the Youth Act. From 2015 onwards, full coverage of the SBI classes, including privately funded care, has been switched to, among other things, because the new healthcare system is making it increasingly difficult to delineate publicly funded care. Furthermore, as of 2015, the day-to-day mental health care centres have been removed from the population as they will be taken into account in the table of statistics on care practices together with the practices of psychiatrists in the relevant SBI class. This DSC file describes which business units (BE), enterprise groups (OG) and related CBS press Sons (CBP) are covered by the Productiestatistica Healthcare Institutions. For the years up to and including 2014, it indicates which institutions will benefit from publicly funded care. For the years 2015 and later, the whole SBI is followed in principle, but there is also a distinction between large and small companies. Because SBI errors are corrected for production statistic care institutions, there may be deviations from the SBI in the ABR. The SBI errors are usually corrected later in the ABR.
