This component contains data on municipal claims on (former) recipients of a benefit related to social assistance or assistance.
The main features of the stock are the outstanding amounts and the origin of the claims.

### Methodology
The source of the data is all municipalities in the Netherlands. Each month they provide a file with prescribed characteristics of their claims against (former) beneficiaries of assistance.
### Population
The population is made up of all (separate) claims that municipalities have on (former) recipients of an assistance or assistance-related benefit.
