Description
This file brings together the trajectories on youth protection provided by all youth protection providers to CBS in the context of the Youth Policy Information. These deliveries within the framework of the Youth Policy Information are legally required and result from the Youth Act.

### Methodology
The providers of youth protection (certified institutions) are asked twice a year to provide data to CBS over the past six months. In addition, in addition to the last six months, it is also possible for them to provide data for the previous six months (re-delivery). Due to this system in the delivery of source data, this file will always have multiple versions of a reporting year. The first version covers only the first half of the year under review and the second version contains the entire reporting year. If necessary, there may be a third version in connection with the possible re-delivery of the second half of the year. For this reason, the type of reporting period is not unambiguous, but is ultimately intended for the year under review.
### Population
Persons who have been granted one or more forms of youth protection under the Youth Act during (part of) the reporting periods. In almost all cases, these are only persons who have been registered in the Basic Records Persons (BRP) at any time during the reporting period.
