Freight transport by road by Dutch vehicles to tonnes, kilometres and tonne-kilometres (from 01-01-2015)
Description
This data design describes the transport of goods by road. Each loading and unloading region (both domestic and international) and type of goods shows the number of tonnes transported, the number of kilometres, the number of tonne-kilometres, the number of TEU (Twenty foot Equivalent Unit) and the number of TEU kilometres.

### Methodology
The statistics shall be compiled on the basis of a sample. The population of license plates is divided into sample strata (based on payload, year of construction, SBI and type of vehicle and from 2013 onwards based on company fleet size). The draw chance is about 1 in 3. Data must be provided per license plate for 1 week per year.
### Population
License plates with a load capacity above two tonnes.
