Overview of all places of residence by municipality (from 01-01-2013)

Description

The Place Name Register (PNR) is an overview of all residences (code and name) that existed in the Netherlands on 1 January of the reporting year, with corresponding municipal code. More information per municipality is not included in the datasets, to avoid double storage. Use the datasets of &Overview of municipalities in different area classifications in the Netherlands &#039, abbreviated name & GIR & GIR#039 included in the DSC; (Area classification register). This includes the name and code of the municipality itself and of the upper municipal region & #039;s to which the municipality belongs (such as the province and the COROP area). More information on how to access the data: > https://www.cbs.nl/nl-nl/onze-diensten/maatwerk-en-microdata/microdata-zelf-onderzoek-doen ### Methodology Source: The source for PNR is the place of residence according to the BAG (Basic Registration Addresses and Buildings). The BAG data is constantly subject to change and can be adjusted monthly. PNR is usually based on an extract from the BAG at the beginning of February of the year under review. ### Population Among the residences in the Netherlands are the so-called BAG residences, which were formally established by municipalities when the BAG (Basic Registration Addresses and Buildings) was introduced, or subsequently, by residence decision.
