Description
File with data from the research into the use of biological fighters in greenhouse horticulture.
This is a multidimensional file, i.e. not all variables apply to all dimensions (=key variables).
There are three dimensions: & Crop ', 'period, and ' type of biological control & #039; '. In addition, there is another from 'crop ' derived dimension & #039; cultivation sector &. A crop always occurs in one growing sector. There are two cultivation sectors: & vegetables under glass ' and 'flowers under glass &.
The description of each target variable indicates the dimensions to which the variable relates.
The file is structured as follows:
In the first columns are the four dimensions. Then follow
—the variables describing the total number of holdings and the number of holdings using biological control;
—the variables describing the total area and the total area using biological control;
—the variable describing the amount of use of biological fighters.
Within these subject groups, the order is that the variables that are least aggregated are first mentioned.
To get from this file to states and tables that form the building blocks for the StatLine publication, a SPSS syntax file is enclosed.

### Methodology
Sample of agricultural holdings from the Agricultural Count, stratified by crop and region (=groups of agricultural areas).
Reporting through paper questionnaires and use of registrations. See also Annex Plant Protection Sample 2012.
The results are only available at the level of the whole of the Netherlands, so not regionally disaggregated.
### Population
Agricultural holdings with a minimum size of EUR 3000 Standard Revenue.
