Commitments whereby at least one of the partners is registered in the population register of a Dutch municipality at the time of the closure of commitments per publication year (from 01-01-2014)

Description

Of these commitments (if possible) the identification number of both partners, the date of commencement of the commitment, the year of publication, the number of previous separations from both partners, the country and the municipality where the commitment was concluded shall be included. Commitment: Marriage or registered partnership. Marriage (legal): Legal commitment to the coexistence of two persons. Registered partnership: A relationship similar to marriage between two persons of the same or different sex, recorded in a civil status deed. The registered partnership was introduced in the Netherlands on 1 January 1998. A demographically important distinction between marriage and partnership concerns parenthood about children born out of the relationship. The spouse of a married woman who has a child is automatically the father of the child. The registered partner of a woman who has a child is not automatic. Divorce: Dissolution of a marriage or registered partnership other than death. This file is a final file and will no longer change. Commitments entered into in the previous year but the undertaking notice of which has only been received after the closing of the previous publication year have been added to the current publication year. Therefore, the year in the variable DATUMAANVANGVERBINTENIS does not have to be the same as the PUBLICATION YEAR BINTENIS. A publication year will be closed around 15 February following the publication year. Because a commitment is counted as at least one of the partners registered in the population register of a Dutch municipality, unknown partners (partner 1 or partner 2) may appear in the file. Commitments can be concluded both in the Netherlands and abroad. ### Population Entered into commitments whereby at least one of the partners is registered in the population register of a Dutch municipality at the time of the commitment.
