WOZ value and ownership of dwellings and non-residentials (01-01-2012-02-01-2022)

Description

This component has been discontinued. For the use of the WOZ value of homes, you can use the component: WOZ value of dwellings (1-1-2019 –...). The years 2019, 2020, 2021 are in both components. Please use the data from 2019 from the new component. This is an enrichment file of the housing stock on 1 January and contains information about the type of property, the type of owner and the habitation of a house. For use in the SSB, Team Vastgoed en Woningmarkt determines the ownership situation of residential objects with residential function once a year. According to the Basic Registration Kadaster (BRK), the owners are supplemented by the LV-WOZ linked to the Basic Registration Addresses and Buildings (BAG). The EIGENDOMYYYTABVV component contains the variables TypeProperty and TypeOwner. These variables are used to replace the variables VBOEIGENDOMBAG and VBOVERHUURDERBAG in the EIGENDOMWOZBAGYJJTABVV component. The advice is therefore not to use these last two variables anymore. The ownership details of the WOZ register and the Land Registry are used to provide the BAG population (up to residence object level (VBO level)) with ownership characteristics over a certain period of time (rent/purchase/unknown). The WOZ data comes from the Tax and Customs Administration. The distinction of rental property/own house is determined on the basis of a link between BAG and the WOZ register with a supplement from the housing file of the Land Registry. The files are linked to each other on the basis of postcode, house number and house number addition.The WOZ registration is available for one monitoring moment per year (1 January). If a change occurs in ownership (e.g. from rent to purchase), this change is only recorded in the following year (in the following month when it can be transferred to a monthly file). Type of landlord is derived using a self-composed list of social security number (bsn) or the legal entities and partnerships identification number (RSIN) of corporations. ### Population All residence objects (with stock type = 1 and INVOORRAAD = 1) at the moment 1 January in the BAG with a unique Rinobject number also called the housing stock. Population and definitions of the BAG are leading to the component. Population falls within the population of residential objects (residentials) according to the BAG, as shown by the component LEVCYCLWOONNIETWOONBUSVYYYMMVV. The file contains on the combined key SOORTOBJECTNUMMER and RINOBJECTNUMMER the variables TypeProperty, Quality Property and TypeOwner. The variable TypeProperty indicates whether there is a rental home/own house/unknown property. The TypeOwler variable is an indication whether the owner is the user, is a corporation or is an other landlord. The variable Quality Property gives the quality of the method by which property is determined for a residence object. For more details, please refer to the code list. The variable Number of Residents indicates whether the residence object is inhabited on 1 January and how many residents are registered. It is possible that this occasionally differs from the results due to the link with the Demographic components. In these cases, it is recommended to use the Demographic components. The variable RINEigenaar identifies the owner (if known) together with SpeciesRINEigenaar. The owner of a property can be a natural person or a non-natural person. The variable TypeRINEGear indicates whether the owner is registered in the BRP or not. In the first case, it is a natural person. In the second case, the owner is not registered in the BRP (for example because it resides abroad) or a non-natural person (e.g. a housing corporation).
