Description
A registered (canton) criminal case is a file registered with the prosecutor’s office with the report of a report concerning one suspect. If more suspects are prevented in a report, a criminal case is registered for each suspect. A criminal case contains one or more facts. A fact in this regard is an event at a certain place and time.

Population
The file contains all canton criminal cases registered with the Public Ministry during the reporting year. These criminal cases were completed in the reporting year or in a later reporting year.
