Description
This file contains information about people up to 18 years who received Youth Care Plus during the year. Youthcare Plus, formerly called closed youth care, is a very intensive form of specialised youth assistance in which the young person is included in an institution. There is no legal minimum age for JeugdozorgPlus, but the target group consists of young people between the ages of 12 and 18. In special cases, Youth Care Plus can be continued up to 21 years.

### Methodology
Youthcare Plus can only be received after a Youth Care Agency has issued an indication Youth Care Plus. Subsequently, an authorisation for closed youth care must be issued by the children’s judge, after which the young person can be admitted to a Youth Care Plus institution where they will receive help with urge and coercion. The purpose of this is to prevent the young person from evading or withdrawing from the help he needs.
### Population
This file lists the people who received Youth Care Plus during the year. Youth Care Plus is intended for people up to 18 years of age. These individuals have serious behavioral problems, and often also suffer from a serious disorder or deficiency. In exceptional cases, Youth Care Plus continues until the age of 21.
