Persons having a debt restructuring through the Natural Persons Debt Remediation Act (01-01-1998-01-01-2018)
Description
Under the Act on Debt Restructuring Natural Persons (Wsnp), natural persons who are in serious payment difficulties are granted a reorganisation scheme. The purpose of the Wsnp is to prevent natural persons from being pursued by creditors up to a length of days when they are in a difficult financial situation. The Council for Legal Aid, Bureau Wsnp provides the data from the Central Database Debt Remediation (CDS; this database also contains data from the 285 declarations: it sets out the reasons why an amicable route through a municipality failed).
