Migration characteristics of persons registered in the Municipal Basic Administration of Personal Data (GBA), publication population (including met messages) (from 01-01-1995)

Description

This bus component from the Social Statistical File (SSB) of the CBS contains, per publication year, definitive data on foreign migration movements (immigration, emigration, administrative inclusions and administrative removals) of persons registered in the DPA by country of origin and destination plus date beginning and date end from 1 January 1995. The file is of the bus type. Bus type means that the data file (the component) has a form in which in a record (a row in the file) attributes are attached to an entity using a time key. The time key consists of a start date and an end date. When a change occurs in one or more attributes, a new record is created. There shall be no overlap in the time keys of successive records for a specific entity. For this reason, the variable publication year has been added to the gba address event bus. All reporting periods (if present on the bus) can be counted from one and the same bus. Each new version of the bus contains only additions to one or more new periods. In principle, the data from previous periods never change. In the DPA, specific rules apply to be registered or deregistered as a migrant. See the variable migration type. When do you use this file? To determine information on migratory movements of persons that must match the numbers published by the Demography team on StatLine. For this reason, the file is the variable 'publication year ' added. Advice for use — If you do not have to match the numbers published by Team Demography on StatLine, please use the GBAMIGRATIEBUS. Later received messages about past events are always processed in order to create as complete a file as possible. The result is that results (from different versions of the bus) can always contain different numbers. — Length of stay of persons on a reference date can be determined with the last starting date of GBAMIGRATIETYPEGEBEURT = & Immigration ' en 'administrative inclusion &. — GBADATUM INDEMIGRATION is constructed and not to be used as a real end date (see explanatory note on the definition of GBADATUM INDEMIGRATION). Difference with GBAMIGRATIEBUS — In the GBAMIGRATIEGEBEURTENISBUS, the number of foreign migration movements in a publication year never changes in principle. The GBAMIGRATIEBUS always incorporates information about previous publication years and results can always vary. ### Population Contains in longitudinal form the immigration, emigration, administrative inclusions from unknown abroad and administrative removals to unknown abroad for the period 1 January 1995 – present of persons registered in the DPA.
