Description
The purpose of the Continuous Holiday Research (CVO) is to collect information on short and long domestic and foreign holidays relating to destinations, duration and expenses, accommodation forms and mode of transport.

### Methodology
The NIPO Capi@home database randomly draws a number of people who fill out electronic questionnaires via their own PC several times a year. For the CVO, a permanent group of respondents receives a questionnaire four times a year: in the months of January, April, July and October, these panellists are asked to provide information on their holiday(s) in the previous three months. In order to avoid forgetting holidays as much as possible, respondents were asked to write down a number of key data immediately after each holiday in a special electronic schedule. The chance of underestimating the holidays actually spent has therefore been reduced.
