Supply and treatment of waste from recycling companies (from 01-01-2012)
Description
This table provides information on the quantity of waste streams landed and released by companies in the industry & preparation for recycling. In addition, it indicates for each respondent how much of which type of waste arises when processing the waste stream received.The company waste means: the substances (materials) released into a company, which have little or no value for the holder and from which they want to dispose of (Law on the Environment, Hfdst. 1, Art. 1.1). For this study, the following are excluded: — radioactive waste, – hazardous waste reported to the National Waste Reporting Point, – construction and demolition waste, – incineration residues from own waste incineration and – substances discharged with waste water or emitted into the air. These are codes for waste as mentioned in the European Waste List.

### Methodology
In the same years, a written survey of the entire population is conducted. Companies with size class 10 (companies with less than 2 employees) are not credited but are valued. In an uneven reporting year, the quantities shall be based on the results of the previous year. These results are adjusted according to the evolution in production by industry. For this purpose, the Production index (see production index industry (SBI 2008) from 1953, index 2010=100, of statline) The enclosed increase factor is used to determine the estimate for the entire population.
