This file contains information about young people who have received one or more forms of provincially funded youth care during the year and the associated duration of care. In addition, the young person also includes the municipality responsible for him/her under the Youth Act.The use of this file does not require permission from the external data provider. This is care that is primarily intended for young people and their parents in the event of growing up and upbringing problems of a mental, social or pedagogical nature that hinder the development towards adulthood. The funding for this care is provincially organised. The provincially funded youth care can be divided into forms of youth care provided by Youth Care Offices and by Youth and Educational Aid organisations. Youth care agencies themselves deliver specific forms of youth care: child probation, custody and under-supervisory (OTS). In addition, Youth Care Offices also issue indicative decisions, allowing young people to access the youth care provided by Youth and Educational Aid organisations: outpatient youth care, day care, foster care and residential care. Young people can receive multiple forms of youth care throughout the year. ### Population This file lists the persons who received one or more forms of provincially funded youth care during the year. Provincially funded youth care is intended for people up to 18 years of age. In exceptional cases, provincially funded youth care continues until the age of 23.
