Characteristics of wastewater treatment plants at companies and institutions (01-01-1993-01-01-2017)
Description
This database contains data from the waste water treatment plants (awzi &s) at companies and institutions. These are characteristics such as the type of treatment plant, its capacity, the province in which it is located, the economic activity of the associated company/institution, the destination of the treated waste water (effluent destination) and facilities in the treatment process that affect the composition of the waste water and sewage sludge (slub stabilisation, sludge dewatering and removal of nitrogen and phosphate).

### Methodology
Under CBS confidentiality requirements, the results by economic activity (SBI) may only be published at department level (2-digit) or higher. The exception is the food industry (SBI 2008 code 10), because it can be published at a lower level.
