Description
This database contains data from the public sewage treatment plants (rwzi &s). The installations are under management and maintenance at the water boards or high-energy councils of the Netherlands. This stock includes the main characteristics of the sewage treatment plants, such as type of treatment and the types of various process steps. There are also indications for the location of the RWzi, such as province, water board and municipality.

### Methodology
Integrated survey of water quality managers in the Netherlands. The survey will be conducted on behalf of a number of other bodies, including Rijkswaterstaat, RIVM and the cooperation in the context of the Emission Registration. Mainly electronic survey. Reporters are all 23 regional water quality managers (water and purification boards).These organisations manage about 340 rwzi &s.
