Description
The database contains data on employees of companies with Research and Development activities divided by gender, profession, knowledge area and province. In addition, the file contains data on income and expenditure on Research and Development (R&D) of companies with these activities.

### Methodology
Direct observation of the units from 10 persons employed.Units up to 10 persons employed are estimated on the basis of the Research and Development Promotion Act (WBSO) data.Imputation of missing declarations if data were received from the same business unit in the previous year.Imputation of missing data based on the stratum average (SBI 2 digit and GK).Increase by population.
