Description
This microdata file is composed of data from finance on small enterprises (SFKO), based on the Corporate Tax Database of the Ministry of Finance and the Finance Statistics of Large Enterprises composed of a direct survey. The criterion of whether an enterprise is large or small is determined by the balance sheet total. Small enterprises are companies with a balance sheet total of less than EUR 40 million, which was EUR 23 million for the years 2001 to 2010. For the period 1992-2000, this amounted to 25 million guilders.

### Methodology
Each record contains balance sheet and income statement data from the corporate tax declarant and the financial statistics reporters of large non-financial sector companies that have responded. The increase factor is determined per stratum (Sbi aggregation). The increase factors are therefore not applied when only data from individual companies are taken into account. In order to obtain the overall picture of the population, the increase factors of the enterprises are applied only to all undertakings at the same time.

Tax declarants, from the non-financial sector, composed of the file of the corporate bonding of the Ministry of Finance and the corporate groups from the finance statistics of large enterprises.
