Description
The datasets provide an overview of the number of civil cases started and ended in the Netherlands. The number of cases terminated in a given year is regardless of the year in which the case started. Civil (or civil) law regulates the rights between natural persons and/or legal persons such as companies. Civil cases are dealt with by the courts, courts and the Supreme Court of the Netherlands. The Courts have been dealing with civil cases in the & sector canton ' since 1 January 2002; or the & #039; sector civil &. The old terms & canton dishes ' en ' District Courts ' expired on that date.

### Methodology
The data on civil cases in the courts and courts are derived from the DataWareHouse of the Council for the Judiciary. The information on civil cases at the Supreme Court comes directly from this court.

Civil lawsuits relating to the civil and canton sectors of the courts, the courts and the Supreme Court.
