Monthly amounts of persons with pension benefits other than AOW or ANW (from 01-01-1999)

Description

Contains details of other pension benefits granted to persons aged 55 and over who receive other pension benefits in a given year Received (War and Resistance pensions or Other pensions, annuities, etc.). This includes vut schemes. And for employees born in 1949 or earlier and taking their life-cycle credit in order to retire, the included credit is also covered by “other pensions and annuities”. AOW benefits as well as ANW benefits (which are sometimes seen as pensions) are NOT included here. This is therefore to a large extent about pensions that employees have accrued with a pension fund. Of these persons is indicated by means of a time key for each day in the year what the estimated monthly tax amount is in the month in which the day falls. The corresponding estimated wage tax has also been given. More information on how to access the data: > https://www.cbs.nl/nl-nl/onze-diensten/maatwerk-en-microdata/microdata-zelf-onderzoek-doen ### Methodology The monthly amounts are derived from the PENSOVPERSOON YYJBUSVV and PENSOVYAARBEDRAYYYTABVV components. The annual amount of a person shall be distributed proportionally over the months during which the person received a benefit. This takes into account the number of days per month that the person had a benefit. In the case of half a month’s benefit, the monthly amount of that month is therefore half lower than a month in which the person had a benefit throughout the whole month. Because monthly amounts can vary within one year, the file has a bus form, so that the applicable monthly amount can be selected at any time. However, it has been corrected for the fact that months have different number of days. Due to this correction, a person’s monthly amount for a whole month’s benefit is always the same, regardless of the exact month. For details of the general methods for determining the persons with other pension benefits and the corresponding periods (both before and from 2006), see the description of the component: PENSOVPERSOONJJJBUSVV. For details of the general methods for determining annual tax data (both before and from 2006), see the description of the component: PENSOVYAARBEDRAGYYJJTABVV. In 2015, the components were overhauled and persons under the age of 55 were removed from the component. For more information on this, see the Annex in the DSC. ### Population Persons aged 55 and over who have received other pension benefits in a given year (War and Resistance pensions or Other pensions, annuities, etc.) (the same population as the PENSOVPERSOON component).
