Dutch energy balance, energy carrier balance per observation unit (01-01-2013 - 01-01-2014)
Description
This file contains energy balances per unit of observation and energy carrier. The energy balance consists of balance sheet items that describe supply and consumption of energy. Supply includes extraction, supply, delivery and initial and final stock. Consumption involves commitment to production from conversion, consumption as raw material and final energy consumption. The observation unit consists of the business unit (BE) of the ABR with a sequential number for the site that has been observed. The division of companies into branches is functional, which means that it is based on data required for energy statistics. For example, from sites with a cogeneration installation, more data is needed than from an establishment without such #039;n installation.

### Methodology
The data comes from energy companies and energy customers in all sizes 0 to 9. Each surveyed company is asked for a physical balance of energy carriers. In addition, registrations are used.
### Population
Companies established in the Netherlands, which generate and/or produce energy with the exception of those processing petroleum.
