Personal identifiers of deceased persons registered in the Municipal Basic Administration of Personal Data (GBA) (from 01-01-2010)
Description
This component from the Social Statistical File (SSB) of the CBS contains the collection of deceased persons, belonging to a certain publication year. These deceased persons had to be registered in the GBA at the time of the death. From
these deceased persons are included in the year in which they were counted as deceased.

### Methodology
This file is suitable for determining the annual number of deaths as published
by Team Demography. This file is a final file and will no longer change.
Persons who have died in the previous year but whose death notice is only after
completion of the previous publication year has been added to the current publication
publication year. Therefore, the year in the date of death does not have to be equal to the
publication year. A publication year will be around 15 February following the publication year
closed.
If only personal characteristics of deceased persons are required and it is not necessary to
numbers of deaths as published by Demography team are advised
use the SSB component GBAOVERLIJDENJJJTABVV. In a later version of component
GBAOVERLIDEYYYJTABVV may have added new known information that previous information
replaces. This in contrast to component GBAMASSASTERFTEJJJTABVV.

Persons who died and were counted as deceased in the year of publication.
