Description
Number of asylum applications lodged in different countries within and outside the European Union.
In addition to the total number of asylum applications, the number of first applications is also reported.
The figures for EU Member States in this table come from Eurostat, the EU statistical office and partly deviating from previously published figures based on UNHCR in the table
