### Methodology
The sample is determined on the basis of the companies in the General Companies Register (ABR) that are active at the time of sampling. Up to and including size class 5, the holdings are selected via sample fractions, from size class 6 the holdings are observed in full.
The microdata includes all non-financial companies registered in the ABR in the relevant statistical year.
The characteristics Quality_1 and Quality_2 say something about the perception and origin of the data.
### Population
The population includes all holdings falling under the SBI range (SBI = Standard Companies Layout 2008) Sections B to J (2 digit SBI 06 to 63) and Section L to N (2 digit SBI 68 to 82).
