Description
It deals with values of import and export of private travel, business travel and education-related travel and care-related travel. In addition, the total general for imports and exports.The private travel traffic is obtained from the sample CVO (see & used methodology quot;). In addition, the statistics on accommodation accommodation and the price index Foreigners in the Netherlands are used. Business travel in terms of imports originates from the CZO (Continue Business Travel Investigation). On the export side model based on import figuresThe care-realised travel traffic is obtained through the College voor Zorgverzekeringen (CvZ). They take care of the offsetting of the costs of care provided abroad and the payment of the care provided in the Netherlands from foreigners.The education-related travel traffic (export) is based on data from Statistics Netherlands Statistics Netherlands (numbers of foreign students in the Netherlands) and information about their spending in the Netherlands based on information from Nuffic. The number of Dutch students abroad, the budgets per student – per country – per year for the purpose of education-related travel (import) is obtained from the Nuffic.

### Methodology
Imports: 6500 respondents complete a quarterly electronic questionnaire (CVO). Includes questions about day trips and holidays by Dutch people abroad. Business travel abroad of 500 respondents per quarter obv electronic questionnaire (CZO). Care-related concerns the value of the care provided to Dutch people abroad. (integral observation)Education related to the spending during education of Dutch people abroad. (integral observation)Export: Number of overnight stays of foreign guests obv sample (± 2,500 accommodation accommodation). Increase by total number of accommodations (± 8900). Price indices spend foreigners in the Netherlands through Sector National Accounts (ENR) to determine unit of account use. Business travel using model based on import figures.
