### Methodology
File of previous years is compared with the artificial ice rinks published on the website of the Royal Netherlands Skating Association (KNSB). Lifted or new artificial ice rinks are updated with addresses added, x and y coordinates are added.
### Population
All artificial ice rinks in the Netherlands that are open during the winter season.
