Monthly amounts of persons with disability (AO) benefit (01-01-1999-01-01-2017)

Description

Includes all persons who have received disability benefits (WAO, WAZ, WAJONG or WIA) in a given year (excluding post-payments to persons who were not entitled to benefits during the year). Of these persons is indicated by means of a time key for each day in the year what the estimated monthly tax amount is in the month in which the day falls. The corresponding estimated wage tax has also been given. WAO stands for the Incapacity Insurance Act, WAZ stands for the Work Incapacity Insurance Act, Wajong stands for the Young Disabled Persons Act, WIA stands for the Work and Income to Labour Capability Act. The WIA has two types of benefit entitlement: IVA (Internance Insurance for Full and Durable Disabled Persons) and WGA (Resumption of partially disabled persons). The annual amount of a person shall be distributed proportionally over the months during which the person received a benefit. This takes into account the number of days per month that the person had a benefit. In the case of half a month’s benefit, the monthly amount of that month is therefore half lower than a month in which the person had a benefit throughout the whole month. Because monthly amounts can vary within one year, the file has a bus form, so that the applicable monthly amount can be selected at any time. However, it has been corrected for the fact that months have different number of days. Due to this correction, a person’s monthly amount for a whole month’s benefit is always the same, regardless of the exact month. This stock is in line with the MICAOTOTPERSOON and AOTOTYEAR PRODUCTS components (excluding post-payments). Between 2006 and 2007, the methodology of these stocks has changed significantly, leading to a trend break in the number of persons receiving AO benefits. On 1 January 2013, the Uniforming Wage Concept Act (WUL) entered into force. Part of this is that from 2013 the employer’s health insurance Act will no longer be counted in the case of taxable (taxable) pay, but is withheld directly by the employer. Since the introduction of the WUL, the tax wage (therefore) is equal to the total gross benefit paid and thus we see a decrease in the tax wage that year.The amounts are inclusive of holiday pay.You see a significant decrease in the number of AO persons (in the components MICAOTOPERSOON/AOTOTYAARDRAG/AOTOMNDBEDRAG) when 2014 to 2015 (version 2), see control tab in accompanying ods files and the meta of MICAOTOPERSOON. This is due to a changed methodology in the source files of team Social Security. The decline is mainly seen at the Wajong; for more information, please contact the Social Security team. Team Social Security has reintroduced the above-mentioned changed methodology from 2013 (there have been new versions of those files from team SOZ). Therefore, the populations of AO in 2013 and 2014 now differ between the MICAOTOTPERSOON/AOTOTY YEAR/AOTOTMNDBEDRAG components (which have not been renewed) and the latest versions of the AOTOTPERSOON components of the Social Security team. ### Population All persons who have received disability benefits (WAO, WAZ, WAJONG or WIA) in a given year (excluding post-payments to persons who were not entitled to benefits during the year).
