Annual amounts of persons with incapacity for work (AO) benefit (01-01-1999-01-01-2017)

Description

Includes all persons who received disability benefits (WAO, WAZ, WAJONG or WIA) in a given year (including post-payments to persons who were not entitled to benefits during the year). These persons are indicated by means of a time key on which days in the year the person received a benefit and what type(s) of disability benefit is concerned with their starting dates. WAO stands for the Act on incapacity for work, WAZ stands for the Act on disability insurance, WAZ stands for the Act on disability insurance for self-employed persons,Wajong stands for the Act on disability provision for young people,WIA stands for the Work and Income to Labour Capability Act.The WIA has two types of benefit entitlement: IVA (Internance Insurance for Full and Durable Disabled Persons) and WGA (Resumption of partially disabled persons). Employees are in principle compulsorily insured for the WIA. In some cases, an employee is not required to be insured. It is possible to take out a voluntary WIA insurance with the UWV. Persons benefiting from voluntary WIA insurance are also represented in this component.
