Transformation parameters – Global
Description
In addition to coordinates in the Austrian State Surveying System (MGI), coordinates are increasingly needed in the global system ETRS89 based on GPS.
A set of parameters consisting of 7 parameters (3 shifts, 3 rotations, 1 scale) enables the coordinate transformation between the reference systems MGI and ETRS89 in both directions.
