Description
Classification of mud and muddy sand habitat delineated from spatial fishing patterns of vessels targetting Nephrops norvegicus. Vessel Monitoring System positional data combined with fishing effort data from logbooks were analysed to delineate areas fished. These fishing grounds are surveyed and groundtruthed annually using underwater video footage.
