Description
Dedicated dikes in Lower Saxony as input data for the preparation of flood hazard and flood risk maps in accordance with the Flood Risk Management Directive (HWRM Directive) 2. Cycle 2016 – 2021.The basis for the processing is the data on the reference date of the 2nd Cycle of the HWRM Directive.A dike receives the property of a main dike, flood dike or protective dike by dedication, which the dike authority pronounces by decree. The provisions of the Lower Saxony Dike Act (NDG) apply to dedicated dikes.
