Lighting

Description

The purpose of lighting is to improve traffic safety, service level, driving comfort, general safety and environmental conditions. The lighting covers luminaires, lamp poles, lamp arms and lamps. The Road Wizard manages the structural and functional characteristics of state-owned luminaires as well as the condition, procedure and administrative information related to fences as intermediate road sections. Detailed column-specific lighting information is available in a separate Keylight system. An illuminated section of road is considered to be an assembly of two or more lamps on the road. In practice, there may be cases where the luminaires are at large distances and, in addition, low-powered. These proportions must also be taken into account if the luminaires are part of the same whole. The road addresses of the lighting are defined according to the first and last lighting columns of the section. The information is constantly updated in Tiewizard. Information is generated on road maintenance contracts, investment projects and other separate inventories commissioned mainly by the ELY Centres. The target category is not versionable. The information covers roads, rafts, ramps, streets, as well as walking and cycling paths. Lighting for the target class always requires a maintenance responsibility exception to the component owner property - Operator nomenclature.
