Digital landscape model 1:1 000 000
Description
The Digital Landscape Model 1:1 000 000 (DLM1000) describes the topographical objects of the landscape and the relief of the earth's surface of the Federal Republic of Germany in vector format. The information scope of the DLM1000 is based on the content of the overview map 1:500 000. The object type entry corresponds to the ATKIS object type catalog DLM1000. To update the database, the digital landscape models of the federal states (ATKIS basic DLM) and the digital topographic maps of the federal states are used.
Among other things, the DLM1000 is suitable as a basis for deriving customised cartographic representations.
The Digital Landscape Model 1:1 000 000 (DLM1000) is available for the first time in the AFIS-ALKIS-ATKIS application schema version 7.1.2.
