Regional catalogue of geosites

Description

REGIONAL CATALOGUE OF GEOSITIS - ARTA, pursuant to Regional Law No 25 of 11 April 2012, ‘Rules for the recognition, cataloguing and protection of Geosites in Sicily’ and subsequent D.A. 87 of 11 June 2012 and D.A. 289 of 20 July 2016 (Procedures for the establishment and rules for the safeguarding and protection of Geosites in Sicily and list of sites of geological interest) provides for the systematic census of Sicilian geological assets and their establishment with specific safeguard and protection rules.
