CalWORKs Welfare-to-Work Monthly Activities

Description

CalWORKs Welfare-to-Work (WTW) Monthly Activity Report. These data provide detailed counts of CalWORKs WTW enrollees, including exemptions and the type of activity individuals are enrolled in as part of their WTW plan requirements. In addition to activities, the data include information on clients' nonparticipation status, supportive service participation, and postemployment/job-retention service participation. These items are categorized by adults in two-parent families, adults in all other families, as well as a grand total. 8 The monthly WTW 25 and WTW 25A reports contain statistical information on the number of adults in All (Other) Families and Two-Parent Families who are enrolled in mandatory WTW employment-preparation activities. It also includes those enrollees who have been exempted from these employment requirements, those who have been sanctioned for failure to comply with the mandates, and those who have been terminated from employment components due to time limits and due to employment obtained during the month.
