The Component Content Model provides data submitters with an easy and consistent means of uploading data and associated meta data about a component that is currently under development. The data fields include generic information about the component, technology classifications, current costs and performance, proposed target goals, and the environment that the component is operated in. These data are important to DOE and will be used to develop data products that provide quantitative information to guide and support programmatic decisions. Data will also be used by DOE in general assessments of MHK component readiness, performance, costs, and proposed plans. The ultimate goal is to use these data to perform research and tailor programs to best benefit the industry. |

This report focuses on the Mooring and Anchoring aspects of the CalWave demonstration project and contains documentation and analysis of the following components:
1. Derivation and justification of the design mooring pattern
2. Derivation of the design mooring line length
3. Anchor and supplementary component design
4. Taut mooring line from Anchor to PTO belt connection
5. Connection points (anchor to mooring line & mooring line to PTO belt) |

The System Overview Content Model provides data submitters with an easy and consistent means of uploading data related to the overall MHK system. The data fields include target resource and characteristics of the full-scale system, the technical overview about the specific system, target design performance and costs, and key events and milestones. These data are important to DOE and will be used to develop data products that provide quantitative information to guide and support programmatic decisions. Data will also be used by DOE in general assessments of MHK system readiness, performance, costs, and proposed plans. The ultimate goal is to use these data to perform research and tailor programs to best benefit the industry. |
