Description
In the summer of 1986 and 1987, an echosounder measurement of the open water area took place. Profiles were measured at a distance of 200 m. In some areas compaction profiles were measured at a distance of 40 m. The shallow water area was recorded photogrammetrically by aerial image measurement. In the winter of 1986, the northern bank was flown from Radolfzell to the Rhine Delta. In the winter of 1989, the remaining shallow water area was flown. Unfavourable weather prevented a flight in 1987 and 1988.
