INSPIRE SN Distribution of species
Description
Distribution of species (according to INSPIRE-RL) is the geographical distribution of animal and plant species, summarised in analytical units. The data set from the Central Species Database (Zena) Saxony contains species observation data from Annexes II, IV and V to the Habitats Directive (Directive 92/43/EEC) and bird observation data of Annex I to the EU Birds Directive (Directive 2009/147/EC) with breeding information.
The data refer to the period 2006-2018.
The data set was created in cooperation between LfULG and the SBS as part of the Sax4INSPIRE project.
As a result, a country-wide dataset aggregated at 10 x 10 km LAEA grid was created, the permanent provision of which is provided and updated annually via the basic e-government component geodata of the Free State of Saxony.
