Climate Impact Adaptation Concept (2019) — Zone 3: potential flooding areas in extreme precipitation
Description
The climate change adaptation concept aims to adapt to the unavoidable consequences of climate change on the ground.
As a result, an improvement in the adaptability and maintenance of the functioning of urban infrastructures and the urban quality of life will be achieved. The identification of the potential flooding areas in extreme precipitation as areas with a need for action are linked to the following objectives for consideration:
— Avoid building and surface sealing in these areas
— unavoidable construction with technical measures for object protection
— Installation of flooding areas with multifunctional use
— Unsealing and greening to reduce surface runoff and improve urban climate
