Theme 0401 — Internal and transitional waters (Municipality of Milan — DBT 2012 — SERIES)
Description
TOPOGRAPHICAL DATABASE YEAR 2012. The TEMA 0401 is part of STRATE 04 — Hydrography. THEME 0401 — INLAND AND TRANSITIONAL WATERS: the theme “INTERNAL AND TRANSITION WATERS” refers to the classification and structuring of the surface occupied by inland or transitional waters; they are distinguished in running and still waters. Running water can be of natural streams (rivers or streams) or artificial (channels), and are represented by the class “Wetland”, while still waters, which are represented with the class “Water mirror”, can be lakes, ponds or marshes, etc. There are also artificial reservoirs, represented by the class “Invasions”, or artificial basins obtained from dam barriers or other productive activities (caves, saline). Finally, they fall into this whole: the waterfalls; springs, springs and fountains, represented by the “Natural Water Emergency” class; both springs and springs and fountains can be represented on the territory by polygons collapsible in points. DBT 2012 available in shapefile format (shp, dbf,shx,prj) of each theme in the geometries Area A, Puntuali P, Lineari L, LIM, where present.
